Yankees' Tyler Wade: Optioned to Triple-A

Wade was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.Wade won a spot on the Opening Day roster and went 1-for-3 with two runs and a strikeout to begin the season. He'll be removed from the active roster to make room for Rougned Odor, who was activated in a corresponding move. Wade will join the Yankees' taxi squad going forward, while Gio Urshela will now serve as the backup shortstop behind Gleyber Torres.
