Orioles' Austin Hays: Three hits in loss

Hays went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jays.While he didn't hit the ball with much authority -- two of his singles never left the infield -- Hays still did his job from the top of the batting order. The 25-year-old is on a roll to close out the season, putting together multi-hit performances in five of his last eight games and slashing .455/.486/.758 over that stretch with three solo homers, but eight total runs scored.
